Gästehaus Sams sits 3 km from Dachstein West Ski Resort and 2 km from Gosau town centre. Wi‑Fi, a ski‑storage room, and a 200‑m ski bus serve guests, while cross‑country trails open directly from the property. Each room has a balcony, heating, satellite TV, and a private bathroom. Guests enjoy barbecues; Hallstatt Salt Mine, Halstatter Lake, and Lake Gosau lie within 15 km.

Frau Sams was very accommodating and helpful. She took time to chat with us, give tips, and advise us on sightseeing spots.

Highly recommend Gastehaus Sam, would definitely return; every little detail was considered, the room was large and well laid out, the bed was comfortable, the shower was a good size, and the breakfast was very welcoming and filling; the location is beautiful and quiet with easy access to Hallstatt and the surrounding area; the family running the hotel were all friendly and welcoming, and although we didn’t need to ask them for anything, they would have been very helpful! Nothing – for what you pay, GS is spot on!
