The staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help, but the place sits right in the middle of Ella, which is a bit inconvenient.

The setting is calm with a mountain view, surrounded by nature that’s perfect for anyone wanting to unwind in Ella – definitely worth the price.

The room was spacious enough, but there was no Wi‑Fi or data, the breakfast only offered two slices of sandwich bread per person, the milk tea was awful, and the walk to the room felt excessive.

“Avoid this place”

Skip this spot. The advertised distance of about 1.2 miles / 1.9 km turned out to be roughly 3.5 km, and the narrow, single‑lane road feels unsafe at night because cars must reverse to pass. The room was in terrible shape: large gaps in the windows let mosquitoes and insects in, making it impossible to sleep; the bathroom was infested with flies, a cockroach, and a worm, and smelled damp with no ventilation. Towels had a bad odor, the furniture was poor, and the old spring mattress was uncomfortable. In the morning, staff shouted loudly outside the rooms, and the windows offered no sound insulation, so sleep was ruined. The curtains barely blocked sunlight. The overall condition of the property was far below what the photos suggested. We stayed one night to see if it would improve, but after experiencing all of this, we left immediately. Very disappointing and I strongly advise against it.

The location was fantastic with a great view, a large open space to sit, eat, and drink, and the staff were very helpful. The food was also good.
