The hotel was decent, but I didn’t enjoy the breakfast.
We spent a week exploring Istanbul, hopping on the Taksim tram, strolling Istiklal Avenue, visiting the Princes’ Islands (Heybeliada & Büyükada), enjoying a kumpir in Ortaköy, browsing Bakırköy’s cheap market, sipping coffee on Galata Tower, admiring Çamlıca’s views, dining at a 39‑floor restaurant with panoramic city sights, sailing, shopping, and marveling at Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, Sirkeci, Beyazıt, Fatih, and Eminönü; we even ate fish twice at Kumkapı, a spot we’d gladly recommend. The hotel gave us a tram pass that we kept upgrading for cheap rides instead of taxis, though we took taxis for longer trips. Istanbul is breathtaking, and we fell in love with it every day. The journey was tiring at first but overall we enjoyed a wonderful family trip, seeing sights, shopping, and more without any problems. Huge thanks to Maduro Hotel; we’d like to give special praise to Mustafa and Murat for being courteous, respectful, and extremely helpful.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
“Фото не совсем соответствует действительности, но жить можно”
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and at least there was some breakfast. The Wi‑Fi was good. The room walls had mold, and the bathroom had the same issue. The noise was intense; it felt like there were no doors, and you could hear everything in the corridor, including other guests’ check‑ins at night. The same happened in the bathroom—you could hear neighbors, and they could hear you. The air conditioner blew directly at the bed instead of away from it, which made me feel chilled.
“Non è niente di impressionante ma neanche male..”
The location was good, but the cleanliness was lacking.
