“Not sure if they scammed us”
We booked the room with the biggest desk and most daylight, but after arriving we were forced to switch because of an enormous spider. Every room in the hostel shares the same name and price, yet the only one we stayed in was the smallest, darkest, and worst, while all other rooms remained empty. The place calls itself a surf and yoga hostel but offers neither surf lessons nor yoga sessions, making the name misleading. Mold was rampant in the bathrooms, and the kitchen looked better in the photos than in reality. As backpackers we expect modest accommodations, but a bit more honesty would have helped.

The location is good, but I didn’t feel welcomed and the bathroom was not clean at all.
The location is great—quiet away from the main street yet still within walking distance of the beach. The room is spacious and clean, matching the photos, and the mosquito net covers the entire bed. WiFi works fine. However, privacy is a bit lacking, and the pillows are very uncomfortable.
