“Blissful relaxing stay”

This place is absolutely lovely, with a very friendly vibe and great staff. The breakfast menu is excellent, offering something for everyone, and the gardens are beautiful while the location remains quiet and peaceful—definitely a spot I’ll return to for another great stay. There’s nothing missing here, so there’s nothing to dislike; my family—husband, son, daughter‑in‑law, and grandchild—love it just as much as we do, and “dislike” isn’t a word that fits The White House.

The hotel is nice and close to the North Norfolk coast. Our room had a pleasant view, a good bathroom, and a comfortable bed. The honesty bar was well supplied, the public areas are very nice, and breakfast was good. A fridge in the room would be helpful, and the bottled water was warm, which was disappointing.

“Very quite and rural”

It’s a very rural spot, perfect if you’re after something quiet. The nearest town/high street is a 10‑minute drive away. There’s a nice garden to sit in. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly. However, it felt a bit lacking at night—there’s an honesty bar and few staff, so it felt more like being at home in a beautiful building, just sitting on sofas or armchairs in silence with no ambient music. If you want a quiet escape you’ll love it, but it felt strange to me.

“Beautiful hotel in an idyllic setting. Top quality bedroom and en suite. Delicious breakfast and afternoon snacks.”

Everything! The downstairs sofas are very comfortable for relaxing while enjoying complimentary snacks and hot drinks. The bedroom is excellent, and I loved the Bramley toiletries. Breakfast was delicious. Loved everything.
