Hotel Best Indalo, located in Mojácar, Almería province, features a beachfront setting amidst gardens. The hotel boasts an outdoor pool, hot tub, and children's playground. Rooms have tiled floors, balconies, flat-screen TVs, and seasonal air conditioning. A buffet restaurant, snack bar, and entertainment programme are available. Playa Macenas Golf Course is nearby, with Almería Airport a 1-hour drive away.

Close to the beach. The food was horrible – poor quality, bad preparation, and limited variety.

I was impressed by the fabulous location, the great food, and the very good facilities; everything was very clean and the staff were very nice. I wish the animation team had offered activities in English too, but most guests spoke Spanish, so I understand.

There were plenty of sun loungers. Our dirty laundry was collected by a cleaner and discarded two days before we checked out, and despite the hotel reception saying their Manager would call or email us, he still hasn’t. I emailed them myself after checking out a day early, but they have not responded. We lost about £155 worth of clothes. Not happy.

The room was comfortable and spacious, and the pool area was great, always with available hammocks. I think the buffet could be improved; it’s very repetitive. The restaurant is large, but with food areas spread throughout the venue, you have to search for where each item is. We were a bit lost. Also, even though I had no children, I feel the main pool should be better connected to the kids’ pool, because the uphill slope becomes very steep in the sun. Something to provide shade would be helpful – just a suggestion.
