It felt like staying at a resort; everything was close and within walking distance. The elevator was out of order and we were not told until we arrived. Being older with bad knees, we had to haul our luggage up three flights of 19 steps.

The donut holes tasted stale, and donuts with fresh fruit were only offered on Friday mornings, not on Wednesday or Thursday—seems reserved for weekend guests. There was no hot chocolate, only coffee. The spa was unusable for someone my age; the tub floor was slippery, so I avoided it. I wasn’t given any room options, and the promised receipt email never arrived, even 12 hours after checkout.
