We were assigned the fiery attic on the third floor, with a balcony, no air conditioning, just a fan. It was Ferragosto and the heat was unbearable; we had to keep the window open all night and the fan running, a nightmare that made it impossible to rest or enjoy the stay. For 120 euros a night, no breakfast (3 nights 366 €), you expect a properly equipped room, yet nothing standard like a hairdryer, fridge, or AC was available. When we arrived, we faced a steep staircase of 56 steps, only 80 cm wide, already hard to navigate with a trolley. Upon reaching the room, the surprise: no AC. We were told, “But it was written that there was a fan.” The fan was mentioned, but in an attic room on Ferragosto with scorching temperatures, it is hardly a suitable solution. By then we had already paid and, resigned, we stayed. Honestly, it was an experience to forget, not just for the night but for all the days spent there.
