An excellent stopover on the way south.

Location was lovely. Pub and food was excellent. Room was extremely poor. TV wasn't even on the wall, just propped on the desk with no remote so couldn't change channel. Shower was ridiculous, you had to take the shower head down and bang it to get it working. The smoke alarm went off constantly after having a shower. Room was tired very depressing and for £85 was an absolute disgrace. If I had paid £30 for the night I would have felt cheated

I had an excellent stay, and the staff were wonderful 👍.
