The room was spacious, clean, very neat, and well kept, giving a sense of privacy and safety; the WiFi worked well, and the host was friendly. Breakfast arrived in the room and was lovely, and the place was peaceful and quiet after a hectic day. The venue itself had nothing I disliked, but the small town of Bethulie feels neglected, though the locals were friendly and helpful.

The hotel's appearance in photos was deceiving; upon visiting, I was disappointed to see run-down curtains, fences, and overall condition, particularly at the back where our room was located. The surroundings didn't feel safe, with many potholes and people loitering around, making it a place I wouldn't recommend for friends to stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the plus side, the breakfast was top-notch - I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, there were some aspects that didn't quite meet my expectations. Overall, it was a decent stay, but room for improvement exists.
