“Lovely rooms but not quiet”
The bed was very comfortable and the room was beautifully furnished with professional‑looking paintings. Breakfast offered homemade yoghurt, jam, bread, and muffins, with savoury options available for an extra fee. We received extra water in the room but no other housekeeping. The restaurant food was good, though on Sunday many dishes were sold out. The bus stop is about a 25‑minute walk away. There were many cats around, which is great if you’re a cat lover, and the opera “butucenj” is worth seeing if you can. However, the restaurant tables are on the terrace by the room, so people eat right outside the bedroom window from 2‑8 pm on weekends, making it noisy and lacking privacy. A wedding at the venue opposite played music late into Saturday, and traffic from people coming and going added to the noise. Being on the far end of the village doesn’t help, so if you’re looking for a peaceful countryside stay, this isn’t it.
