Uvítal by som väčší záujem o poriadok + obnovenie vybavenia v kuchyni
“Tani, duży dom dla paczki znajomych”
The location is great—just a quiet spot right on the river with no neighbors nearby, so you can set up a fire and chill in the garden without worrying about anyone watching or peeking over the fence. It’s close to the main road in the center of Slovakia, making it easy to reach any trail within 40‑50 km, and cyclists can head straight onto the bike path that runs along that road. The rooms are split up nicely, allowing many people, including couples, to stay comfortably. There are plenty of double rooms, separate bedrooms, and single beds. The downstairs area has a big dining room, a double shower, and several toilets, so the house really holds up for large groups. On the downside, the house’s equipment is already worn out, especially the kitchen. With so many guests, the kitchen is just too small, and items like the oven and fridge are damaged and not cleaned.
“Dá sa ale treba počítať so starším (starým) zariadením a vybavením”
The location is good, right in nature beside the river, essentially secluded, with a nearby bike trail and a short walk to a buffet and a tavern for meals. The cabin has passed its prime years; don’t expect luxury, but rather older furnishings and equipment.
“Gives what it seems, but with considerable hiccups.”
We liked the overall setup of the house—the long, heavy wooden benches and tables, the new modern windows that block out the highway noise, the nearby fast stream, the responsive hosts, and the great price for a family gathering. But there are two heating options: A) the fireplace, which isn’t child‑safe, and B) the electric heaters, which often blow the fuse, especially when used with cooking appliances. We chose B because of the kids, but it’s uncomfortable because some heaters are in poor condition with faulty thermal resistors, so they either don’t provide enough heat without the fireplace or overheat quickly and become dangerous to touch. For water heating, there’s one huge electric boiler/hot water tank that seemed plenty but kept breaking off before it finished heating. The hosts always sent help on short notice to get it running again, but that’s useless if it stops making warm water again at night or during the day, when you’ll notice and end up without warm water for a shower. The ground floor was OK, but the first floor’s carpet would benefit from a thorough cleaning or refurbishing. There was also leftover garbage under the beds that the kids obviously found; I’d guess those spots and corners weren’t cleaned in a long time. Overall, a bit more care would make wonders with this place!
