Being a solo traveler, I chose this affordable option. I met guests of all ages, which was fun and gave me a lot of useful information. The place was very clean, so I stayed comfortably. The free washing machine and shower were handy, available anytime except late night. It became a lifelong memory. The access to 47 Hostel might need caution. I took the ferry both ways; normally I’d disembark at Wakamatsu Port, but waves pushed the ferry to Ien Port on the opposite side of Okinara Island. There’s a bus line on the island, but the system was confusing, so I couldn’t board and might have to walk the steep 3 km. Luckily, kind islanders helped me on the way out, and the person I met at 47 Hostel sent me back. I’m forever grateful to both.
