“高原の滞在を大満喫できるミニマムサービスのホテル”
At first I thought the lack of a restaurant would be inconvenient, but a nearby roadside station and a bento shop plus a communal kitchen in the hotel gave it a cabin‑like vibe. Even during the busy Obon period the kitchen stayed spotless, and both indoor and outdoor shared tables were clean, which impressed me. The local shops thrived and guests seemed happy, making it a win‑win for everyone. If I had to nitpick, the take‑away bento options at the roadside station could be more varied—there was only a mountain‑vegetable rice ball, which was a little disappointing, though not the hotel’s fault. Also, the shower in the room was a Western‑style model that was confusing; with six of us we couldn’t figure it out, and three people ended up drenched in their clothes while trying to sort it out (laughs).
