The spot is right in the middle of everything you’d want to see, which was a big plus. Unfortunately the TV in the room didn’t work at all and there was no reading lamp, so evenings were a bit inconvenient.

Our host was sweet and helpful, and the little garden cottage was clean, simple, and just perfect for a short break. Expect to share the space with tiny critters like spiders and beetles, but that’s part of the charm. The on‑site bar stocked a great selection of beers, wines and even some champagne.
