The staff were very friendly. We stayed in the self‑catering unit, which was large, spacious, clean, and very neat, and it was very comfortable. There was nothing to complain about.

The room was very comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed a lovely, serene view. The food was close to 5‑star, and our spa experience was lovely. The TV channel selection was very limited, with none that suited our taste or for children.

The location and views are great, but the breakfast is mediocre and needs a more diverse selection.

The hotel sits just outside Clarens, but the view from the room is pretty good, especially early in the morning when you can see nature. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, the room is near the main road to Clarens and a service road, so at night the traffic is hard to ignore because the door and windows have gaps. The air‑conditioning unit also stopped working for a while.
