The pool, the typical Tuscan scenery, and the breakfast had what was needed, but the staff’s welcome, the room, and the early pool closing were disappointing.

“Ben al di sotto delle aspettative.”

The location was decent, and the surrounding villages were beautiful and reachable by car. The building had good potential but was poorly maintained, infested with ants everywhere. The restaurant service was awful and completely forgotten. The appetizer buffets were chaotic, poorly managed, and low‑quality. The large pool had paid towels for guests (towels probably left behind by customers) that were stretched out. It felt like a municipal pool. The bathroom was tucked in a corner under an old shed with a visible toilet, and the door was always open. There were many rude people, and a little privacy or a hedge would have added some dignity. I’m sorry to write this, but it’s the second time I’ve found myself in a place that’s supposedly high‑rated and instead feels like a paid mess far beyond expectations. I pay and expect at least some dignity! I’m definitely not coming back.

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was plentiful, but the room was dirty, full of dust, the air conditioning was almost useless, and the convector fan blew lukewarm air.
