I like the new locks on the door; I feel more secure. The shower head was an issue.

The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was very underpowered and slow to cool the room.

The hotel sits just across from Sonic, a little restaurant next door, and a dollar store behind Sonic, all within walking distance, which was convenient. However, the price hike was annoying—after arrival I was charged an extra $20, and the Wi‑Fi was terrible.

I stepped into my room at 5 pm in Texas during August and the place felt like an oven because the AC wasn’t running; I had to crank up the small, noisy unit, but even that barely cooled the room. After a restless night of tossing and turning, I only managed four hours of sleep before heading to my car to escape the heat and left early, though the bathroom was clean.

The stay was quiet and relaxed, and there were no complaints.
