“Very uncomfortable”

Everything was outdated: the door wouldn’t close properly, the fridge was noisy, the tub was filthy, walls had holes, there was blood on the floor, and the first room’s closet door was broken. The staff were incompetent, so I left early because I couldn’t stay.

“Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing and did not meet expectations.”

The continental breakfast was basic, with the same limited choices each day. My stay was disappointing for several reasons: I was told taxes and fees were included and a $50 damage deposit would apply, yet we were charged a $25 deposit per night, totaling $175. The front desk said nothing else was needed and the amount would revert automatically, but after 7 days the release hadn’t processed, and a week later my bank said the hold would stay until month‑end. The toilet overflowed on the first night; maintenance said no cleaning crew was available to sanitize, so we had to call the front desk. Toilet problems persisted for three nights, and we were told not to flush toilet paper. No room change, compensation, or apology was offered until we raised the issue, and the alternative room was smaller. Housekeeping was minimal, just trash removal and bed making. Hallways smelled dusty and musty, especially odd for a pet‑friendly hotel. The main issue was the lack of urgency and proactive service in fixing problems, which fell far short of my expectations.
