Nothing about the stay pleased us; perhaps a car parking would have helped. The building’s exterior looks like a renovated garage or a shed, and as soon as you step inside you’re greeted by three lamps, one of which has a dust‑covered filament about 15 cm long. The room smells damp and moldy, giving a horror‑film vibe. One bedroom has a small portable AC that whines like a helicopter, making it impossible to sleep while it’s on, and if you turn it off the heat makes sleeping impossible again. The other bedroom’s AC can’t cool the room at all. Then there’s the highway just about 20 m from the window – whether you open or close the windows, the noise is constant and makes normal sleep nearly impossible. The outlets hang out of the wall, the front door lacks a proper knob and looks like a makeshift sliding door, and the mattress is catastrophic. The rooms were decorated with boards and various details to look “rustic,” but everything feels improvised. Instead of a nightstand, you get a wooden plank like in an ethnic village. We paid 90 € for one night and couldn’t sleep through the whole night, so we left at 3:30 am because we simply couldn’t stay.

The room was clean, and the owner was extremely kind. It’s about a 15‑minute drive to the city center, which is great for spending 2/3 days.
The check‑in and check‑out process went smoothly, and the location is great if you’re traveling from Zagreb airport. The only issue was that it was very loud for sleeping because it is close to the highway.
Everything was just super! We arrived very tired and earlier than we should have, but the host welcomed us warmly and immediately put us into an apartment where we could relax. We had tea, coffee, and a warm atmosphere at our disposal. Everything was great, we felt at home, and a huge thank you! I recommend everyone stay here!
