The hotel’s location was excellent and it had plenty of character; the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room, especially the bathroom, was small but functional. We had breakfast the first morning, which was okay but felt a bit pricey for what it was, so for the rest of our stay we ate elsewhere in the city, finding better value and a chance to people‑watch.

The room is fancy and retro, and the bed is comfortable; I like the bedside table design. The shower water pressure is very low.

The two rooms I booked, only one was ready when I arrived; after some negotiation a solution was found. The lack of professionalism was disappointing.
