Hotel La Basílica Quito, situated in Quito's Historical Center, offers free WiFi in a Colonial-style building. The hotel is near Basilica of the National Vow (less than 300 metres) and Bolivar Theatre (a 15-minute walk). Each room features a seating area, flat-screen TV, and city view from the rooftop terrace. A continental breakfast is served daily, and staff are available at the reception.

The hotel sits in an excellent spot; the owner handed me a local map and food tips, the place was charming and spotless, the bed was comfy and the room was beautifully arranged when I arrived, though I wish they’d provide liquid soap like most hotels do.

Beautifully decorated property, very clean and well maintained. Rooms had comfortable beds and hot showers with excellent water pressure. Breakfast was included and was delicious and filling. Easy to walk everywhere in the old town. Nothing.
