The room was clean and airy, and the bed was comfortable. However, the private bathroom was not actually separate from the rest of the room as the listing didn’t mention an external bathroom, and the keys for the bathroom were identical to the room keys. It would have been better if the ad said “private external bathroom.”

Just a short walk from everything—historic center, Scala dei Turchi, Valle dei Templi—Michelangelo was friendly and welcoming. I recommend it.

The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was good. The room was very small, not very comfortable, and not very clean.
