The spot was great, and the staff at the restaurant and bar were friendly and engaging. Check‑in was super easy and quick, but the bed linen didn’t fit right – it was too short to tuck in at the top and bottom and left about a metre of overhang on either side of the floor.

The apartment was in a good position and clean, but there was no exhaust fan in the shower, the bathroom air‑con kept shutting off after 30 seconds, and there was no breakfast at the front restaurant like years ago.

Netflix was the only thing that attracted me during the whole trip; otherwise everything was fine. Nothing much else to note.

Having a washing machine was a bonus.

The staff at the bar were great, the room was comfy, and the view from our room was reasonable, but the menu at Espy’s felt a bit ordinary.
