The welcome was friendly, the place felt authentically Japanese, and it was very quiet. The only complaint is that the website doesn’t showcase this accommodation well.

It felt like coming back to my own home—so relaxing and comfortable. There were no negatives.

Nothing special to highlight. The stairs made a loud echo, so guests need to be considerate of others. Suddenly, due to a site glitch or something, the number of people spiked and I felt suspicious of the manager. The kitchen was left in a mess after the previous guest, with a strong domestic vibe and poor cleaning. The guest fridge was confusing, and the manager’s fridge was left in the sleeping area, adding to the confusion. The manager abruptly came into the house in the morning. There were no amenities. It felt like staying in a stranger’s home. The path to the parking lot was a bit narrow. There was no convenience store nearby. The cleanliness was a bit lacking. I wouldn’t recommend it to female travelers.
