The view was superb and the onsen was very pleasant, but the staff weren’t very friendly. The building looked worn out and could use a fresh coat of paint.

The room was large, well‑located, and fairly clean. The hotel itself was a bit old, the sound insulation was poor, and both dinner and breakfast were average.

We booked this hotel mainly for the view of Fuji, and it delivered. Without that view we would have missed Fuji entirely, as the mountain was only visible very early in the morning. The place was old and worn, the staff were not particularly friendly, we had to pay extra for a small amount of instant coffee for the kettle in the room, and we also paid for a taxi to the hotel because they didn’t respond to our email.

We had such a wonderful stay at Tominoko Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and excellent service. The hotel kindly picked us up from the station and even took us back after check-out, which made our stay so convenient and stress-free. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had an absolutely magnificent view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to enjoy the same breathtaking scenery while having our meals. The breakfast buffet and dinner included with our accommodation were both delicious, and having a meal while admiring Mt. Fuji made the experience even more special. We would also like to give special recognition to Tanaka-san, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. Her thoughtful service truly made us feel cared for, and we sincerely appreciate her hospitality. The beautiful location, spacious room, delicious meals, and especially the wonderful staff made our stay a memorable one. It felt like the perfect place to slow down, relax, and simply enjoy the beauty of Kawaguchiko. We will definitely come back to Tominoko Hotel on our next visit. Thank you for making our stay so special! We look forward to seeing you again. 🗻🤍
