Land of Dreams in Nkob, a boutique oasis near Zagora, offers sun‑lit terraces, lush gardens, and an outdoor fireplace for evening relaxation. Rooms feature air‑conditioning, private bathrooms, mountain views, and ground‑floor accessibility. The on‑site restaurant serves African cuisine with vegetarian, vegan, and halal options, while free Wi‑Fi, private parking, and cycling trails enhance the stay.

We chose this stop, unusual and fairly isolated, on our 15‑day road trip to break up a long drive before reaching the desert; the surroundings are barren and the road is, as everywhere in sparsely populated areas, unpaved and gravelly. The property is very large and the family welcomed us with great kindness, offering us tea. There isn’t much to see nearby, so we stayed for dinner, which unfortunately wasn’t one of our favorites. The breakfast, however, was very, very abundant and delicious (we even took some home for a picnic). We took the chance to rest and watch the stars. Recommended for a short stay to get a night’s rest.

Our host Ali and his family are very friendly, hospitable, and modest; we enjoyed a generous breakfast and learned a lot from Ali about the local culture and history.

Great, comfortable, very clean accommodation. Ali and his family were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. The food was sensational. Nkob is a very nice and relaxed place. All in all, an unforgettable experience.
