“Obviously an older hotel with a facelift”
The venue was better than most for a Family Weekend, but the curtains were stained and torn, built up first, and there was dirt behind the tables.

The elevator was broken, the road was in disrepair, and the room had no coffee maker—apparently Holiday Inn Express is removing all coffee machines, which is a terrible move. Best Western Plus still seems to offer better service. The promised 24‑hour lobby coffee never materialised, a poor decision.

The hotel itself was great and the staff were very helpful, yet road construction outside forced me to detour to reach the driveway, even though I know it’s temporary.
