“Nie wieder.”

The location was great, with a parking spot just a few minutes' walk away. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning, and the open window above the kitchen vent let a strong odor fill the room—my 6‑ and 7‑year‑old kids were so disgusted they refused to sleep there. When I had luggage and a stroller because one child had a hip‑leg cast, nobody offered help. Breakfast was a bare set with no variety, and we saw no other guests around.

The room was very clean, the staff friendly, and there were plenty of parking spaces. The breakfast left room for improvement: it consisted mainly of packaged items like Nutella, honey, butter, cheese and a fruit yoghurt, with the rolls merely warmed briefly in a pre‑heated pizza oven, and the hard‑boiled egg was cold, seeming to have been cooked the day before. For a one‑ or two‑night stay that might be acceptable, but the dining area was crowded with several other couples, indicating clear potential for enhancement. A simple platter of regional meats and ham, a selection of cheeses—especially in Switzerland—and some fresh vegetables would instantly raise the quality. The bathroom also needed upgrades; only two tiny sample shampoo packets were left on the made‑up bed, which is insufficient for two summer nights, especially without a separate shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom. Wall brackets from former hotel dispensers were still visible, and it was unclear why they weren’t refilled. We had expected fresh toiletries after the next day’s cleaning, but that never happened, forcing us to buy our own shampoo and shower gel at a supermarket. These are minor issues that could be easily fixed to make guests’ stays much more pleasant.
