Siem Reap Riverside Hotel

“Avoid! Run. Stay far away.”

Nothing positive at all. The reception staff and manager were disdainful, ignorant, and rude. The sheets and towels were filthy and stained. There were large cockroaches in the bathroom with excrement on the walls. A horrendous thumping noise persisted all night until 6 AM each morning. Power blackouts occurred with no explanation. The entire pool area was filthy and greasy. Loud transit buses moved through the property. The large “smoking deck” was beyond disgusting.

The peace, the setting, the staff, and the pool were all excellent.

The staff were wonderful, both at the hotel and the restaurant. The hot shower had good pressure, the room was spacious, and the staff let you relax. However, several days I was woken at 5 or 6 AM by a lot of children yelling in the pool, even though it supposedly doesn’t open until 8.

The pisi9 was fine, but renovation work made the pool unusable.

“Un hôtel familial aux petits soins!”

A superb place for those who want to stay in Siem Reap but stay away from the tourist crowds. The hotel staff are ready to help with any of our plans. Scooter rentals are very reasonably priced. You can buy tickets for shows and even for travel to another destination. I highly recommend this address. The only downside was a bit of noise in the corridors, according to my husband.
