The hotel has a colonial character in a lively neighborhood that deserves to be called central. Walking is the best way to see the city. The room I was first given faced a very noisy street, but we were able to get another room very easily. However, it would really benefit from a refresh.

Service at all levels was excellent, and I’m glad I stayed there. The elevator is a bit dodgy but OK—a vintage piece!
