We stayed near Yanzhou Polytechnic with my son. The hotel was clean, not pricey, and the staff were super friendly. The only gripe: the shower didn’t give hot water and the fridge barely chilled the food.

The place feels cozy and modern. Staff are welcoming and try to help. My room had a balcony with a mosquito net and a view of the pond, and the noise from neighbors was muffled. It’s a bit out of town, but buses and taxis get you downtown cheaply. Breakfast was decent, though I wished there were more fruits and seafood. The room listing promised a hot‑water jacuzzi, but it turned out to be just a hot mineral bath that only runs hot yellow water.
