The view of the rocks is insane 🙏🏼☺️, and being close to Goßwein & Pottenstein is sensational. It’s a pity there’s no beer garden outside anymore 🥹.

The room offered a nice view. The rooms were a bit Spartan in décor, a wall wardrobe would make sense. But the price was okay for that. The rooms should have a double lock, a wardrobe, and a trash bin (the one in the bathroom was a bit small).

It wasn’t in the center, but everything was reachable in less than 8 minutes, often just 4 to 5 minutes by car. The location was very, very quiet. The facilities were kept very simple and somewhat old. Cleanliness left something to be desired. The beds were new, and so was the wardrobe, but the wardrobe’s drawer was immediately in hand because it wasn’t properly assembled. The shower in our room was old and a bit moldy. The duvet cover’s zipper was also defective; it can be found cheaply at Aldi, Lidl, etc., so it could be replaced. The window frames were full of spider webs, so we only opened the balcony briefly in the morning to ventilate. The balcony was fine. Breakfast wasn’t possible there; we drove 3 km to Pottenstein in a car to a bakery/café.

The balcony room gave a fantastic view, and the host answered questions right away. However, the balcony itself wasn’t cleaned like the room, one of the chairs was broken, the hotel feels old—especially the bathroom—and we wished there’d been a kettle.
