The Nob Hill Hotel, established in 1906, features elegant marble flooring, ornate ceilings, and a period art collection. Guests enjoy evening wine tastings and proximity to Union Square. Victorian-style rooms offer free WiFi, velvet bedding, and cable TV. On-site, Colombini Italian Café Bistro serves seafood, steak, and risotto, with fine wines. The hotel is near cable car lines, Fisherman's Wharf, and Little Italy.

The beds are very comfortable and the spot is well‑situated, and the receptionists are friendly. The breakfast is very limited and lacks variety.

The value for money is fair; the photos on the site make the rooms look bigger than they actually are, but overall it worked fine. Breakfast was okay, offering toast, bagels, jams, peanut butter, regular butter, Philadelphia, cereals, hard‑boiled eggs, porridge, bananas, and apples. The bed was really small; my partner couldn’t fit in lengthwise. The location is in a less popular area, but a quick Uber gets you back safely at night.

The staff were friendly, but the double room was too small – no room to move around, we had to put our suitcases on the bed and the bathroom sink was tiny. The area around the hotel isn’t great; the road to get there is full of homeless people and there's a lot of street noise at night.

The place is nicely located, but the breakfast only has cereal, oatmeal, a few bagels, and toast. The room had no AC, so we slept with the window open the whole time. There was no water pressure and no hot water.
