“Lovely staff , but the place could do with a refresh”

The staff were lovely, but the restaurant didn't serve a full menu, which was a let‑down.

The staff were welcoming. We dined at the hotel and the meal was excellent; kudos to the chef.

“Nice stay bit would have been better if restaurant was open”

The room was great, especially the separate lounge and the view over the town, and the staff were friendly and personable. Breakfast was excellent. However, even though we had an email confirming a dinner reservation, the restaurant was closed when we arrived after a long drive, forcing us to walk into town—a steep walk back up the hotel drive that was tough with a health issue, and we couldn't get a taxi.
