Only the location mattered. The elevator was broken, and the staff barely showed up. They parked in a spot we weren’t allowed to, and because the hotel has no guest parking, we had to park several blocks away; our car almost got towed when workers told us to park illegally.

The spot was perfect for strolling downtown and dropping off bags when needed. The staff were extremely friendly, kind, and helpful, and the loading zone for luggage was convenient. The room didn’t match the price—it was hot and muggy, the bathtub was disappointing with jets that looked never cleaned, and I wouldn’t have used it anyway. I couldn’t sleep until after 2 AM because downtown’s new noise ordinance didn’t apply to certain bars; the “light music from the cafe next door” was actually loud bass music. All I got for what we paid was the location.
