“Central location, big rooms, but AC and piano need work”
The place sits right in the heart of the city, and the kitchen is huge with a dining nook and roomy bedrooms. The décor feels more like a palace – some of the furniture is striking, others just odd, so opinions are split. The air‑conditioning barely kicked in during the heat, and the piano was out of tune when we arrived.

The house was spotless, the kitchen had every utensil we needed, and the fireplace came with a supply of firewood ready to go. One of the bedrooms, however, had a squeaky bed and a mattress that was far too soft, and there were basically no cleaning products provided aside from a few dishwasher tablets.

The apartment was exactly where I needed it – steps from everything and fully stocked with the basics. Checking in was a breeze and the host replied quickly to every question, which made the whole stay feel smooth. All in all, a solid, hassle‑free experience.

Our six‑person ski crew loved the central spot; restaurants, markets and sights were all within walking distance, and we ended up cooking dinner at the house twice, even firing up a barbecue one night to save on pricey restaurant meals. The host was responsive and helpful, answering every question we threw his way. The only hitch was the 8‑9 minute walk to the gondola, which felt a bit long hauling our own skis, though we managed by parking near the lift for a daily fee.
