I liked the host and the location; I didn't like the bed, feeling the mattress could have been a bit more comfortable.

The room was very private, cozy, and fully equipped, the kitchen area was spacious, every room was a suite, the house was close to the beach, the streets were flat, and it was a 10‑minute walk.

Everything was clean, but we had to drive 14 km to the city center to find a decent pizza place in Praia Grande because nothing else was suitable. We stayed in the last room on the corridor, which was super dark and had an unbearable mold smell; the walls were stained with dampness, and since it was the beach and it was raining, the odor was even stronger. We kept the ceiling fan on all day and night. There was no kitchen, and the staff said nothing about it. We washed dishes in the bathroom sink. I asked to change rooms because of the smell, but we were not helped. The shower had no base, it was directly on the floor. The mattress was sagging and very uncomfortable. The bathroom shower was full of mold inside. Nothing else was impressive, and it was not worth the 385 reais. There was a shoe rack that was completely moldy inside the room; we put it outside. The beach is ugly and dirty, the street has huge potholes and a lot of mud with huge puddles. We ordered pizza from the owner's son’s place, which was horrible, raw, and had no filling; it was super expensive. The breakfast at the corner was also terrible and pricey, with a soggy cake, watery juice, and rude service. I will never return to this place in Pereque Açu; it’s awful! We had no luck at all, we totally chose the wrong place this time! On top of that, guests on the floor above kept dragging their stuff all the time, and there was a 6 am knock that was merciless; never again!!!

It was worth the cost‑benefit, the location was quiet, Kátia was very attentive, the beach was very close, the neighborhood was peaceful, the place was simple and pleasant, and for someone like me who doesn’t have a car, Uber is easy to access and not expensive. The downside for me, since I took the bus, was that it was hard to bring bedding, and when it rained it got cold and there was no blanket, but God always puts good people in our path and a neighbor lent me a blanket.
