“Barco con necesidad de conservación, hay muchas mejores opciones en la bahía”
The personal friendliness was the best part, but the place feels quite cramped and the photos don’t match the actual accommodation.
The ship and staff were very nice, and we stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was huge. However, there was a lot of rubbish floating in the waters.

The staff, food, cleanliness, and trips were all great. The downside was noise in the first bedroom and the absence of a bin in the bedroom.

We stayed two nights aboard Dora Cruises in Ha Long Bay on the Doris and it was a fantastic experience; the ship’s standard was solid, the food throughout the trip was good with plenty of vegetarian options, and the crew was consistently friendly and professional. Special shout‑outs to Tam, Carter, and K, our day‑boat guide, all of whom were brilliant, spoke excellent English, and were helpful, engaging, and fun to chat with, which really enhanced our time on board. Choosing the two‑night cruise instead of one night was a smart move because the extra day let us fully enjoy Ha Long Bay and its activities without feeling rushed. The only downside was breakfast, which was just okay and didn’t match the standard of the other meals.
