Sending love and blessings to the Flores people during their recovery. We were in Komodo/Flores when the M7.7 hit, so we had to change our plans. We asked for a refund, but it wasn’t acknowledged. Obviously busy with many other crises at the time and understandable. I just posted a basic review to clear the notification from my feed.

The front desk lady was extremely helpful and the breakfast was amazing ✨, but the overall cleanliness left something to be desired.

The place was clean, welcoming, nicely furnished, with a good bathroom and a great rooftop restaurant, and it’s just a 3‑minute walk to the Kitchen Garden Restaurant where we feasted. A local veggie market, Pasar Rakyat, is nearby, and the property is off the usual tourist trail. We were surprised that the rating we saw when booking was only average; it really deserves a higher score. The only downside is that there’s no nearby beach—mangroves surround the coast—and the rooftop doesn’t offer a sea view.

Heel gastvrij en mooi schoon kamers lieve mensen, heel gezellig. Gewoon gelegen lokatie niet echt zo mooi midden in bos gebied.
