When I checked in, the room was dirty, the bed was a mess, the garbage bin was full, and there was no housekeeping. The receptionist was unfriendly and left us to fend for ourselves; we had to cancel the reservation and had nowhere to stay.

I liked the location, but the room was nothing like the photos; the exterior looked worse than expected. There was no desk, the paintings were on the floor, and with a toddler it was a problem. The shower lacked shelving for toiletries, and all the provided items were left on the counter. The toilet roll holder was rusted, which made me uneasy. Finding the TV remote required several trips to the office, and we could hear everything from upstairs or next door.
