This place left a lasting impression – the intimacy, the breathtaking view, the simple yet beautiful room, the location, and the quiet vibe all made me slow down without noticing. It felt like a hidden gem that invites you to breathe deeper, move slower, and just enjoy the moment. The staff were all warm, kind, and genuine, making me feel at home from the start, which is rare when traveling. I came expecting a pretty spot and left with something far more special; I already know I’ll be counting the days until I can return.

I booked the Blue Waves Surf House on a friend’s recommendation and we weren’t disappointed! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly and felt right at home. The hotel is gorgeous and the beachfront location is simply perfect. Thomas and the whole team were always incredibly helpful, friendly, and heartfelt, turning our stay into something truly special. We would definitely recommend the Blue Waves Surf House to everyone. It was one of the most beautiful accommodations we had in Sri Lanka, and we’d come back anytime!

The accommodation is very pretty, with beautiful views, attentive staff, and a very good and complete breakfast. The only downside is that there is no pool.
