“Très déçus !”
We were told the hotel was a “home of exceptional quality” in its ads, but that’s not the case for retirees booking through Booking. We ended up in a small flat under the roof, with a very narrow, steep spiral staircase that didn’t meet safety standards, forcing us to haul our heavy luggage up the whole way—an obvious risk of injury or falling. The bulbs were dead, only one bedside lamp worked, there was no Wi‑Fi, and it was freezing in the morning. The spring mattress was hard, and the breakfast, billed at €16, was terrible; by 9 am the pastries were gone and the charcuterie and cheese were basic. When we tried to point out these issues to the front‑desk staff, they looked down on us. We were extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place.
