The reception and staff availability were great, the roofstop was comfortable, and the bedding was good, but the mixed dorms were a downside.

Het interieur is heel heel mooi en afgewerkt, de host isam was erg vriendelijk, het dakterras heeft een heel mooi uitzicht en is heel rustig ookal ligt het in de Medina en naast een drukke straat (waardoor het heel makkelijk te vinden is. Het toilet en douche waren in 1 klein kotje dus je moet soms het toilet afkuisen voor gebruik, maar laat dit je vooral niet tegenhouden van dit geweldig hostel te boeken

The place looked completely different in reality—very hot in the 6‑square‑meter room, no windows, dirty, smelly, no AC. The photos were beautiful but not reflective of the actual conditions. The owner wouldn’t refund or cancel the reservation, claiming we should know what hostels look like. The bathroom was very dirty and we couldn’t shower there. We stayed the first night because we arrived very late, but from the second day we had to move to another hotel. The owner refused to refund the reservation, insisting we should understand the hostel’s appearance.

“Excellent séjour au sein de cette auberge !”

Ideally located in a fairly quiet corner of the Medina, the hostel is easy to find with GPS (though the network isn’t always reliable in some Medina streets). The rooms overlook a common area on each floor, and you can access both roof terraces at any time (there’s a smoking terrace and a non‑smoking terrace). The atmosphere was friendly and pleasant. The staff were always courteous and the place was well maintained daily. The only minor issue was the bed, which wasn’t very comfortable, but that was a detail that didn’t prevent me from sleeping well.
