I didn’t take breakfast at the hotel, which was fine for me – I was just there to rest and didn’t miss anything. Other than that, everything was as expected.

The setting is lovely, tucked away from the city bustle yet still within easy reach. The rooms feel a bit dated but everything is spotless, and they even provide a kettle with tea and coffee supplies. The beds are super comfy, and the lady at the front desk was genuinely friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay again.

The location is decent and the price was right, but the bathroom was icy cold and the room felt cramped. On top of that, the hotel’s exterior and hallways have that retro‑socialist look that some might find off‑putting.

Breakfast offered the basics—bread, cold cuts, eggs, veggies and a few sweets—though the price felt steep for what was served. The staff were friendly and the spot is perfect for quick trips to the nearby ski areas. Unfortunately, the building feels more like an old dormitory, with a lingering lemon‑scented chemical smell and an odd green aquarium with roaming cats at reception that made us uneasy, especially with little kids.

Our room was spotless and surprisingly quiet—being set back from the main road meant we didn’t hear any traffic at all, and we slept like a log. A nice touch was finding two small bottles of Znojmo wine and a jar of apricot jam for coffee, plus a kettle ready to go. The only drawback was a mattress that was a tad too soft for our liking.
