The location was excellent, the room clean and the view from the window beautiful. Yet after I swiped my card at the front desk, I got a call back to the room asking for a photo of my credit‑card number, which I found completely unacceptable.

The room was tidy and clean, the view from the window was nice, and the price was reasonable; the location was great with snack bars and a convenience store nearby. On the downside, fire regulations require the emergency stairs to stay closed but unlocked in case of a fire, yet on my first night both stairwell doors on my floor were locked, and after I reported it the next evening they were only half‑closed—both ways violate the code. Also, the shower door wouldn’t seal properly, so water leaked out while I was bathing.

The lobby feels huge, so stepping inside lifts your spirits right away, and the bathroom boasts a massive bathtub while the bottled water never runs out; the infinity pool is simply fantastic. The staff even took the time to slice fruit and pack it in a box for us, which was very thoughtful. However, arranging a taxi needs work – they should let cabs pull into the welcome lane instead of forcing guests to walk out, and the employees are inconsistent, some using phones while others flag taxis on the street; a clear policy would suit a luxury property.

The hotel was beautiful, the room was very spacious and had all the comforts. The location was good, not far from the center, but we only stayed for one night to sleep. We arrived and left by taxi, which is 5 minutes from the south station. We didn’t get to try breakfast unfortunately because of the departure time.
