The cooking facilities were good and the spot was convenient for my work, making it ideal for a summer holiday with the kids but less so in cooler months; the heater worked well. The camp owner was welcoming and helpful. However, the Wi‑Fi failed on my laptop and only managed light use on my phone, the main bed felt hard so I slept on the bunk, the place was very damp with windows streaming moisture, and there was no fan in the bathroom—definitely not suitable as a work base. Charging motel rates for the camping ground cabins was a downside.

The hosts were lovely and very accommodating; they made sure everything was ready even though we were going to be late. The unit and the whole place were very clean and overall well managed.
