The location was great for visiting the temple (5 min on foot), the staff were very friendly, and the bedding was clean and decent. There was no window, making ventilation difficult. The regular spray diffuser emitted a slightly annoying scent, but overall the value for money was excellent.

I was lucky to be just 100m from the Borobudur entrance, which let me catch an extra hour of sleep before the 4am tour. The place stayed tidy and the hot water kept running. However, the room partitions don’t reach the ceiling, so a mosquito can hop over the wall and bite you, making the night long, sleepless, and itchy. The air conditioning was just a fan that moved air without cooling, and there was only one unit in the whole guesthouse. One of the sink faucets barely produced water.

The stay was perfect near Borobudur Temple, on the main road close to Manohara. It was great value, offering full amenities like bottled water and a water heater. Convenient stores and the bus terminal were within walking distance.
