The room was comfortable, but the walls are very thin and you can hear everything from other rooms and the hallway.

The room and the apartments are decorated in an old‑fashioned style, something unusual and very Italian, like in a movie. The marble staircase in the entrance, the old elevator, the gorgeous floor made of dark wood—beautiful! The staff is friendly and not intrusive; these apartments are for people who value their space and comfort and want minimal communication while relaxing. You can message through Booking or talk at reception before breakfast. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to sleep without the air‑conditioner because the room’s window faces the courtyard where all the building’s air‑conditioners are located, making it feel like a sauna inside. That’s just a feature you have to accept.

The spot’s location is spot-on, right in a great area.

The place was close enough to the city and the bed was comfy while the room had plenty of space. Communication was a nightmare; we paid for breakfast but were never told the café was shut, so we ended up with nothing. Only after asking did they explain that the city tax would be waived so we could buy breakfast, yet that amount didn’t cover a decent breakfast for two every day. They also claimed an airport shuttle was available for a fee, but when I inquired they only told me how to get to the hotel—public transport or a private taxi we’d have to arrange ourselves. Overall, the management was badly handled.
