“Lovely stay for a night or two”
The exterior was very dusty, which negatively affected the health of some party members.

Masseria Il Frantoio, a 15th-century organic farm in Puglia's countryside, offers rustic rooms, regional cuisine, and free parking. Surrounded by citrus gardens and olive groves, it features an original mill producing quality olive oil. The 19th-century main building houses bright rooms, a library with 1500+ books, and a courtyard restaurant serving set menus of local specialties, near Ostuni and the sea.

Great history and building mass, nice experience. The room standard was somewhat below expectations. Located in the dining hall, we never got a table in the coziest part.

Everything was perfect – the setting was fantastic, the room super comfortable, the taster menu excellent, and all staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing to complain about.

The traditional Masseria was well located close to Ostuni, and we liked the pool area and the general friendly relaxed atmosphere. The staff were engaging and enthusiastic, seeming to enjoy being there. We had a lovely 7‑course tasting meal with traditional local food and wine. The room was a bit old‑fashioned, which might be expected from a traditional stay like this, and there wasn’t much natural light in the bedroom.

It was an interesting experience for those looking for a traditional farm stay, a lovely historic property with beautiful gardens and a pool area. We booked dinner and wine tasting, plus breakfast, and the food was good quality.
